On May 24th, 2022, just two days before school let out for the summer, there was a horrific school shooting that took place at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. There were 19 students and 2 teachers killed, and another 17 people wounded. On February 17th, 2018, a 19 year old former student walked into the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and went on a murderous rampage. On December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, a 20-year-old shot and murdered 26 people. Twenty of the victims were children between six and seven years old, and the other six were adult staff members.
